As an ESE (Special Education) Inclusion teacher, I am constantly aiming to increase student engagement as much as possible, as quickly as possible. My school has a high poverty and high minority population, and all of my students have varying exceptionalities that make learning more difficult for them. I generally have close to 30 minutes at a time to get intensive remedial instruction in with these high need students.
