  First, let me extend a huge thank you for choosing my classroom to support. There are so many things that I'd like to say and wish we could say as a class to show you how thankful and appreciative we are for your kindness. In my school, most scholars do not have the tools necessary to be ready for learning. Through this project, I am able to provide everything my scholars need and remove the stress and anxiety they often feel when they know they don't have a pencil or a notebook. This past week I handed out new supplies and they cannot believe how random strangers want to support our classroom.

• Not Today COVID! 4th Grade Gonna Keep Learning & Growing!

  This pandemic has brought unimaginable challenges for my scholars. For this group of scholars, their entire fourth grade year was spent virtually. We persevered and we rose above the challenge. We fought through the days where scholars just wanted to lay in bed and do anything but our learning for the day. Through this project, it re-energized my scholars and reminded us that we are faced with the very same challenges of scholars all across the country and together we could make this year the best, even under the crazy circumstances. It was with your generous support that this project was able to be funded. Your support is beyond appreciated and overwhelmingly valued. • Take Us On A Journey with Literature!

  I would first like to begin by stating how crazy this past year has been for my scholars and myself as an educator. Throughout the craziness, my scholars have overcome so many challenges and barriers to online learning. One of their favorite memories thus far is the read alouds we have read together each day. It is with your gracious donation, that I was able to create a virtual library of books for these read alouds. Whether we are virtual the remainder of the year or switch to some sort of hybrid/in person learning, we take we with us the appreciation of donors like you who chose to support our learning.”
