  You helped to provide snare drums for my beginning band students. Great quality snare drums became available to start the kids off right. The students beam with pride as they play the drums. • Building Habits for a Successful Beginning Band Student

  Thank you so very much for your investment in my beginning band students at Indian Hills Elementary. Our current method book is great for beginning to learn to play the instruments. The Successful Habits books will take our learning even further. Your donation will make a huge impact on the students. This additional method book will take the students to another level playing wise that would not be as attainable if we didn't have it. This book series will allow us to have all of the skills we need to prepare the students for middle school next year as well as challenge them in a developmentally-appropriate way.”

• Musical Keys for Success

  Thank you so much for your generosity. The addition of a brand new digital keyboard will allow the students to hear and enjoy music even more than they previously have in the classroom. Our former piano was very outdated and unreliable. Having a brand new piano has me excited and I know that it will help in creating more amazing music-making experiences for my students. • Drumming to the Chief's Beat

  My students were so excited when I let them know of the project getting funded. They were even more excited when the items arrived. I immediately opened them up and we started using things. The snare drum and bell kit was a much needed item for my band students. Many of the drums that we had are damaged in some way, so the addition of the new snare drum made the percussion section of the band very happy. There was a confidence boost for those that played the new one. It was a great to witness the joy that was on the students' faces. The elementary students enjoyed the items as well. The resources will be used for many years to come.”

• Exploring Music With Great Books

  Thank you so much for your generosity. It has allowed my classroom to have a good supply of books that focus on music. We have already been using them and learning from them. I have read from a few and we have participated in various activities such as worksheets, discussion, comparing and contrasting, and more. I plan to do so much more with the books to engage the students and introduce them to music through reading and other texts. The students love the books and I appreciate the impact that you have made on my classroom now and for years to come.

• Sticks and Supplies for Music Time

  Thank you so much for your generosity. My students received much needed materials that have allowed us to better explore different kinds of music in the classroom. The students get so happy when we get new instruments and I see them grow so much with the additional of these new resources.

  We're going to be working on growing our middle school band class, so additional instruments will be needed for our band to continue to grow. We are growing little by little and your help and generosity has allowed us to keep going.”
