Kindergarten Community Gathering!
Funded Dec 18, 2023As an interventionist teacher, I see firsthand how crucial the right resources are to their early development. My students are bright, energetic, and eager to learn, but they often need extra support to catch up with their peers. Each item requested for this project will play an essential role in helping them grow academically and build confidence in their abilities. The teacher rolling cart will allow me to move materials efficiently between small groups, ensuring I have all the tools needed to deliver focused, effective instruction.
This is especially important as I work with students at various levels, tailoring my teaching to meet individual needs in reading and math. This is particularly beneficial for students with sensory needs who thrive in a more adaptable learning environment.
Thanks to your donation it helped me as a teacher meet my goal in creating an engaging and supportive space where my students can overcome challenges and excel. With these supplies, I was able to help my students continue to make great strides in their learning journey! Thank you for your support and consideration.”

Funded Dec 18, 2023We are extremely grateful for your generous donation to our learning community. Your contribution will help us in our mission to encourage and develop literacy skills among our students. We believe that there are many ways to read a book, such as reading pictures, retelling remembered stories, or working out words. These methods help students construct meaning on their own, which is a crucial aspect of developing literacy skills.
Your donation will allow us to provide students with the necessary materials to reinforce these skills and encourage a love of reading. One example is our Read Aloud program, where students listen to a story read by the teacher. This program has been extremely effective in helping students develop their reading comprehension skills.
Thanks to your support, we will be able to provide small group instruction to our students and ensure that they receive the individualized attention they need to succeed. Once again, thank you for your generosity and for helping us make a difference in the lives of our students.”

Funded Dec 18, 2023Participating in creative movement during school hours can offer numerous benefits to students. Apart from the obvious physical activity, such classes can help to strengthen a child's imagination and enable them to experience the magnificence of life in a more profound way. Thanks to your generous donation, the children now have the opportunity to engage their visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile senses as they learn about their bodies and the space around them. This type of sensory exploration can help to foster a deeper understanding of movement and how it relates to the world around them. Moreover, the materials have also helped in developing the students' social skills as they learn to work with others and communicate effectively in a group setting.”

Funded Apr 21, 2023We will continue to fight for equity and access with your kindness indelibly engraved in our classroom. Thanks to your generous donation, all of our kindergarteners will have a snack just before our extended learning block begins. As a kindergarten teacher, it is my goal to ensure that each of our students receives the proper nourishment they need. During snack time, the students have been practicing practical life skills of self-care, care of the environment and grace and courtesy. Because meal and snack times have a predictable structure within our grade level schedule, it has been wonderful in our efforts for teaching and practicing social skills. My sincere gratitude to you for your generous donations.”

Funded Dec 16, 2022We have many great counting manipulatives in our classroom thanks to your donation! , The kindergarteners now have games that teach number sense, addition, subtraction, patterns, and shapes. I am able to combine these printable resources with the manipulatives we already have in the classroom to create rich math centers in the classroom because of your donation. These resources will give students access to countless opportunities to explore and deepen the mathematical thinking skills. I have seen great benefits from the use of these tools in the classroom and every student can utilize these tools during whole class mathematics instruction. Because of your donation I was able to successfully differeniate the math instruction for our students. Thank you so much”

Counting Skills in Kindergarten!
Funded Dec 9, 2022These kindergartners love to be at school. They love to learn, and they love being an important part of their community. Nearly all the students that attend our school live in low-income households. Despite the enormous challenges they face on a daily basis, they come to school, work hard, and continually push to make everyone they love and care about proud. This year it is especially important to focus on engaging hands on learning. While COVID19 continues to disrupt our daily lives and instructional minutes, every second we spend at school needs to be impactful. Your donation made a difference in our learning community as we can continue to help our students reach their math learning goals. I am thanking you from the bottom of my heart for your donation.”

Funded Dec 9, 2022Early literacy activities build rich language skills: vocabulary, self-expression, and understanding (comprehension). These skills help children make sense of printed words when they start reading. Students are developing a love for reading! This love for reading will cross over into all other areas of their life. The best part is they will be learning and not even know it. I love how much this class LOVES learning and how far we have come since September. Kindergarten is such a year of growth! All of these supplies will continue to be used in small and whole group reading to make and read words. Thank you for your support.”

Funded Dec 9, 2022My students come from backgrounds far and wide. They often struggle with academics and dread reading class assignments much less for reading for pleasure. The struggle to help close gaps is one that I face daily and the thought that I could do it through reading is one I pray about. With these materials the engagement and learning has increased during small group instruction and these differentiated learning materials will continue to help students develop skills that will last for a lifetime. Early literacy does not mean teaching young children how to read. Instead, it means helping children develop the skills they will need to become successful readers. Thank you for supporting our learning community. Thank you for your support :)”
