• iPad Charge!

  Thank you so much! I am so grateful to you all for your generosity to my classroom. Students use iPads in my classroom for fun, engaging learning games as well as a for assessments and assignments. Having a charging station with the cords to charge their iPads makes it so much more manageable. Students can come in and charge (and store) their iPads while we work, and know how to get them when it is time to work. Your support to my classroom has ensured my students are charged and ready to go! Thank you so much!”

• Morning Routine

  It is with such humbling gratitude that I share this letter with you! Thanks to your generosity we have been able to start the school year using this wonderful Calendar Math center. This Center has made our morning routine so engaging and easy to develop! Students can clearly see how to use the center and how to make connections to math and establishing routines. The name tags have also been so wonderful in ensuring students can clearly see their space and spell their names correctly! I am just so very thankful to everyone!”

• Testing Privacy!

  The resources I received thanks to your absolute generosity has greatly impacted my classroom! How amazing a few things can make such a wonderful difference in my everyday teaching. Let me begin with the paper center! Oh it has truly organized my homework and class work papers! Yay! The magnetic writing page makes teaching the spelling and high frequency words so much easier! And really models how to print in the lines!!! The digraphs match game really supports my struggling readers and gives them the motivation to learn! And finally the privacy partitions and rack!!! Made our testing that much more smooth and manageable!”

• Cushions & Books

  My students just love their cushions! They use them on their chairs, they use them on the carpet. They hold on to them, they sit on them. The cushions have ensured my students feel comfortable and focused on their work. They are more willing to stay in their seats with the comfortable cushions, and they are able to stay on task for longer periods since they are not sitting on hard chairs. On the carpet, they feel more comfortable and they are more engaged and focused. Your generosity to my classroom is so appreciated!!!”

• Charge It!

  I can't thank you enough for the wonderful technological additions to our classroom!!! With the headphones, students are able to focus just on their learning games, (and the classroom isn't filled with random noises from the apps.)

  Additionally, the iPad charging station is amazing! I can charge all the iPads at the same time! And store them safely while they are not in use! As a teacher, I try to incorporate technology into the classroom, but little things (like making sure an iPad is charged) make a huge difference in keeping kids focused and engaged!

• Let’s Read

  My students are eager to learn and love to interact with their peers. Having a small library has made it so my students can easily get a book and read (either independently or with a friend). They enjoy that their is a variety of books and topics all at their level so they can read independently and improve their reading skills.

  It's so awesome to see them go to the library and pick their favorite book, then go find a nice cozy corner (thanks to other projects I also have comfy cushions ; ) and read! The best ways for students to improve reading is by reading and these books have given the opportunity tor read books at their level and interest.

• How to Sit?

  When I created this project, I had a few specific students in mind. I have a class of very bright, gifted students that learn and work with their whole bodies! These students engage with learning, not just with their minds, but with their hands, feet, arms, and legs! They are eager to learn and eager to grow and they can't hold in their excitement or thoughts.

  These wobbly chairs and wiggle feet cushions have helped my students stay on task and continue to move their bodies. They can continue to learn while they use their whole bodies!

• Comfy Seating

  My students saw the comfy cushions and squealed with excitement!! They love sitting on the carpet with the cushions. Some of the students sit on them, others hold them on their laps and others take them to their desks to sit more comfortably on their chairs! These comfy cushions have really ensured my students are more comfortable at their desks and on the carpet. They make the classroom feel more warm and inviting. More of a family environment.

• Love to Read

  Funded Nov 10, 2021

  When my students came in the day after the delivery they became so excited! They exclaimed, "We can now see all the books!" and "Look how easy it is for me to get the books!"

  They loved that they can now see the title of the books and it makes picking their favorites that much easier (and quicker). This new bookcase really gives my students a feeling of ownership. They want to care for their books, their library corner. I have a few that remind others how to place the books back so that we can all see the titles!

  My classroom is that much warner and inviting thanks to this wonderful addition! Thank you oh so much!”

• Read All About It!

  This project is a wonderful addition to my curriculum. We get the packet of the Scholastic News and the kids are so excited to read the current events and cool random information. I have students who are constantly asking to know more and want to read and learn.

  They are curious and eager to learn more. These articles really support their curiosity and allow them to learn about their world at their reading levels. They are able to read the articles, ask questions and even expand their learning by researching even more!
