• Outside and Moving

With virtual learning still going on, the children have to sit in front of the computer so many hours, but your kindness has enabled the children to go outside at their homes and play with new hoops, play balls, and jump ropes. They are going outside to jump, play, and swing around. Your support has provided the items needed by the children to really move around not just stand outside watching the cars go by. These stuffed animals are just what the boys and girls needed to help them adjust to all the changes in their lives due to school closings and now virtual learning. When I delivered the plush toys to the children, their faces said it all. They were bubbling with happiness when the received their huggable little animal. Just a simple little huggable animals can release stress and at the same time give the children some comfort and security and your kind help has made this possible. • I’m Just Dyslexic

  Just wanted to say thank you for all your help. We finally received the books and digraph cards. With everything that is going on, there were delays in shipping, but good thing they arrived just a few weeks after school stated. The boys and girls were so delighted to received the books and other items. I delivered some to their homes since some have learning virtually. They are enjoying the Tom and Ricky Mysteries as well as the leveled books. The children are continuing to learn blends and digraphs so the cards are just what was needed to practice this skill. They needed the reading materials at home and your help made this possible. I appreciate all your support and so do the children. Thanks again.”

• Learning Together Alone, Part 1

  Just wanted to say thank you for all your support. The children were delighted to receive the school pencils to complete work. They really needed the dry erase markers . Of course the pencil pouches were a big hit. It was nice for the children to have their little supply of face masks. I appreciate all the support you have given the boys and girls and can't thank you enough. The pencils, dry erase markers and pouches sure did make it easier to keep things in order.   "Reading at Home with Mom and Dad" has been a great success. Thank you for making this possible. Parents have called and texted me with the fantastic news. Reading at home with mom or dad has helped their child learn and maintain reading.

  Reading the Dick and Jane books has tremendously helped my students. Parents are saying that these books have helped with the recollection of the high frequency words and fluency. I'm so proud of the children. I can only imagine how excited and proud the parents must be. Your help made learning from home a big success and I am truly grateful. I appreciate your support and hope that the children send me some pictures to share with you. Thanks again.”

• Lets See It, Hear It and Use It!

  We can see it. We can hear it. We can use it. The boys and girls can do all this because of your generosity. Thank you for the technology you have provided for our learning.

  Now when I play music or some other internet media, my students can hear very clearly and loudly with the speakers for the laptop. No more straining to hear. The document camera has allowed quick viewing of activities and work to all the students. The children enjoy placing their spotlighted work under the camera for the entire group to see.

  The calculators have come at the perfect time. The children use them to check work and activities. I appreciate everything you have done for the boys and girls. Thanks again.”

The children look forward to getting a little toy or prize for their efforts. Some kids go for the miniature games. Some choose the airplanes or the launchers. Yet, some kids pick a toy for their little brother or sister. You have brightened their day in more ways than one. The children stay on their toes as they complete their assignments.   No words can express my gratitude for your kind support. The boys and girls were so happy to return to school after the holidays and see all the school supplies. They really needed them. The journals were passed out to each student and now they can have plenty of fresh new pages to complete notes and station activities. The children loved the markers and highlighters. Thank you for your support with the school supplies. The sharpeners and the tape dispensers were a big hit for the groups to use. The children just loved all the supplies and of course I am glad to get the copy paper. Once again, thanks for caring about the education of my students.”
