Let Your Fingers Do the Walking to the Pre-K Barbecue
Funded May 31, 2018I want to express our gratitude from class Pre-K 213. We were able to use our snack for our gathering. Food has a way of bringing people closer together and when we had our gathering we shared our snacks with our families and friends and for the time being, it brought unity. I'm not saying that snack + food are the answer however it is a beginning. The day we received our packages my babies all were curious because I left it down on the floor. When they opened all the boxes they were all excited and started jumping around. I think they were excited just opening the boxes. Our babies get happy for the smallest thing that we as adults take for granted. There is so much to with so little time. I would like my next project to give boxes to each child for Christmas. I would like a sock, underwear, t-shirts, pajamas, toothbrushes and maybe scarves, hats, and gloves. I would also like toys for them for Christmas. Many families don't have the finances to provide for their children. So if we can provide a little something it might just help and bring positive joy to their lives. I would also be working on a computer project. My computer broke and our school is unable to replace it, os I work like to get a computer for me to use them all last 4 tablets for my little ones to have to use in class. So I wanted to really thank you for making my first experience with donors chose a great one. I really appreciate it on behalf of my babies.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Otero
