• Cozy Reading Nooks for the Library!

  My students were delighted to see the new seating options in the library. The plush bean bags and comfortable chairs are just what we needed to make the library feel more inviting and enticing to young readers. The items in this project have allowed me to create separate reading areas that students genuinely enjoy. These are coveted seats during lunch, bringing in more visitors who want to sit and read.

  During class time, when entire classes come by to check out books, the students look forward to finding a good book and sitting down to enjoy independent reading time. Thanks to your generosity, students are no longer limited to our wooden chairs and tables. They now have other cozier and more comfortable options.

• Math & Science Filled Books to Empower Middle School Minds

  Books centered on math and science are essential components of a well-rounded education. The books in this project are helping to fill a void in our library collection. On behalf of my students, I would like to thank you for supporting this project.

  Students are gaining exposure to these topics in an engaging and meaningful way. They can choose books that interest them and are given time daily to read during their ELA classes.

  Reluctant and avid readers alike enjoy and delight in the worlds they discover in these books.

• Informational Dazzling Books About the World!

  Thank you so much for supporting this project. Thanks to your support our library was able to add non-fiction books filled with information about science and the world.

  Students are coming by the library to check out these books and fill their minds with learning and discovery. This is really helping our students develop their independent reading skills and a helping them build a deep appreciation for reading.

  Non-fiction informational books are important and also help support the curriculum by filling our students with real world information and connections to science.

• Historical, Science Fiction, and Spooky Books to Captivate Students!

  Your support for this project has brought a variety of captivating books into the hands of eager readers.

  Despite our limited and outdated selection, historical, science fiction, and spooky are genres are among the most popular.

  Our students seek to learn more about the past with books such as " How I Became a Spy: A Mystery of WWII London" and "My Brigadista Year." They also enjoy peaking into futuristic and science-filled worlds with books such as "5 Worlds Book 1: The Sand Warrior" and "Minecraft: Stories from the Overworld." Of course, they are also delighted with the mystery and suspense of spooky stories such as "The Haunting of Henry David and "Ghost Bone."

  Books with classic and re-imagined superheroes are books that are quickly becoming our students' favorites. Classic superhero stories can transport and captivate imaginations while helping to instill a genuine appreciation and passion for reading. While the stories of some unique but quirky superheroes can help our students envision themselves in these roles. Everyone needs a superhero! These books were very much needed in our library.
