Funded Jun 5, 2024Thank you so much for your donation for an iPad. Your contribution is making a significant impact on our educational programs, particularly in the realm of 3D printing.
With the addition of the iPad, our students now have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology that enhances their learning experiences. The iPad will serve as a vital tool in teaching them about 3D printing, a field that is increasingly relevant in various aspects of technology and design. This technology will not only foster their creativity but also equip them with practical skills that are highly valuable in today's digital world.
Thank you once again for your thoughtful contribution. Your commitment to supporting education and technology is truly appreciated, and we are excited to share the positive outcomes of your generosity as our students continue to explore and learn.”

Funded Dec 11, 2023Thank you so much for your support of this project. The students have been feverishly designing their projects and asking for me to print their projects. I have seen them design handheld mazes, cereal bowls, and optical illusion words that read different words when you look at it from different angles.
Students are using these resources as an opportunity to enhance their engineering and designing skills. The goal for the end of the year is to design something that is practical and can help them in their daily lives.”

Living Life In 3D
Funded Oct 31, 2023Thank you so much for your contribution to this project. My students have been super excited about designing their projects after completing their assignments. They have come up with so many creative designs that can help them in their daily lives. For example, one student created a bowl with a filter on it so that she can eat her cereal with milk and filter out the cereal and just drink the milk. Another student is designing a keepsake box so that his mother can keep all her jewelry safely in the box. The students are so creative and I can't wait to see what else they design.”

Funded Oct 17, 2023This new table has been such a game changer for the students. We were stuck with mini tables that are too small for my growing 6th graders. They were bending over and slouching over the table when they were completing work in class.
With these new tables, students are more alert and do not need to slouch to complete their work. They are at age appropriate height and students feel more comfortable doing their assignments in class.
The new wobble chair are also a huge hit for the students because they are able to get their energy out while still focused in their seats. I love this new resource for students and can't wait to purchase more.”

Funded Aug 2, 2023Thank you for your support in getting students to understand fraction. Students usually have the toughest time with learning fractions because they usually don't have manipulatives to play around with to understand fractions.
I use these manipulatuves during small group instruction and I have seen a world of difference. Students are combining different fractions and making sense of why different fractions are equivalent to each other.
They are able to visually see the WHY 1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2 which has been amazing for their math conceptual understanding.
I can't wait to update you on when we actually get to the fraction unit of 6th grade.”

Funded Jul 23, 2023My students were so excited to be provided these learning essentials. At the start of the school year, a lot of them mentioned that they wouldn't be able to purchase folders and other essentials. However, once they saw the learning essentials that were funded by you, they were over the moon.
Currently, their binders are where they keep important notes and information they may need. They also have personalized their folders with stickers that I have purchased for them.
Pencils are always a necessity and the box of pencils that you've funded has been extremely helpful in making sure students always have a pencil to be ready to learn. Thank you so much! :)”

Funded Feb 10, 2023Thank you so much for your donations and support for this project. The sixth grade team is forever thankful for making our 6th Grade Lollapalooza fun and engaging for our students. It was a humid day and the pop up tents were extremely helpful in keeping our students safe and cool.
The cooler were extremely helpful in keeping student drinks cool so they did not over heat in the warm weather. Students were running around having fun playing sports and they definitely appreciated the coolers keeping their drinks cold.
The football throw was a hit amongst students. They loved having friendly competition with each other and were trying to beat each other.
Overall, it was an amazing event and we truly appreciate all the support for our scholars.”
