My Southern Nevada school has a high population of Latino students. The majority of my students don't usually attend the semi-annual Book Fairs or order from the book catalogs that I send home. Their parents are working to make ends meet and don't have the money for a new book. Nonetheless, these students love to read and learn! They attend a school where educators love their jobs, and more importantly, love to help their students achieve.
