This school year, I am teaching two college-level courses (AP Statistics and AP Microeconomics) to a group of dedicated and extremely motivated students. These students are willing to work hard in class, study long hours and meet on Saturdays and during vacations to master this rigorous material. They understand the value of a good education and want to improve their circumstances. Every one of these students is a minority; virtually all of these students have challenging home environments and are living in poverty. Every one of these students plans to attend college. Most will be the first generation in their family to attend an institute of higher learning. These are strong students - determined and ambitious students - who deserve the resources to achieve their full potential.

About my class
