This project is seeking funding to acquire new collaborative work tables for my classroom. My classroom serves over fifty 4th and 5th graders each day but does not have adequate seating options. The desks my students currently use are not level, they are old, and worst of all, they are wobbly. Newly purchased desks with whiteboard tops and ample space will foster collaborative learning in the classroom. Collaborative learning has been proven to build achievement, productivity, teamwork skills, and self esteem in students. My students have the potential to go the distance and deserve every opportunity to build their skills!

About my class
