  • I scream you scream we all scream for iPads!

    Funded Oct 5, 2019

Thank you so much for your donations. My students seek time to practice skills independently, listening to stories and do math and iPads allow them to work on skills. I am excited to show them the new technology and allow them that necessary time to work on high quality technology. My room is truly becoming a classroom of the 21st century. I am happy that i can provide technology for them and i know they will be thrilled with these new items thanks to you. This will not only make them so happy but also boost their knowledge!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hopkins

  • Books Books Books

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

I cannot express my gratitude enough for your thoughtfulness in helping my classroom of 1st graders. I have started a new year and new class. Everyone in my room is at different points in their learning. Luckily because of you, I have over 70 guided reading books to fit their just right level. My entire room and atmosphere is because I am consistently supported by donors. I would not be able to work in a title one school without people like you looking out for me and my students. I am so thankful to have the most rigorous texts in front of them and I know years from now when they are life long readers they will thank you too.”

    With gratitude,

  • iPads, iPads!

    Funded May 16, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. It is because of donors like you that I have technology in my room. In a public school Title 1 school oftentimes it is hard to find high quality materials for my students. Due to your generous donation I am able to give my students high quality items and allow them access to technology that they otherwise would not receive. My room runs on donations and I am so thankful for people like you to help me provide a world class education to my students. I again thank you!”

  • Read Baby Read

    Funded Aug 13, 2018

"I want to shout out Ms. Hopkins because she gives us stuff to help us learn"- a student at the school wide assembly. My students have been THRILLED that they get items that help them be their best selves. My students are able to log into iPads to see lessons at their level, use headphones in the listening center to hear their favorite stories, and read our daily morning messages. I cannot believe how my first week went because of all of you. My students are on 100% free lunch and some experience homelessness. For them to come to school everyday and see these items makes them and me forever grateful. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hopkins

  • Flexible Seating for 1st grade

    Funded Jul 6, 2018

I am so excited to try this project out! Because of you 20 first graders are able to learn in a fun create space. Each day my kids will have a different level of choice in a shared space that will allow them to take control of their own learning with me just as a guide. I am so thankful for this for it will transform my practice and change my students lives. I know that they will have never seen a classroom like mine and for that I am thankful. My classroom truly will fit the needs of all learners.”

  • Busy Kindergarteners Need Help with Math!

    Funded Jan 20, 2015

My students screamed with joy today and it is all because of you! We opened the packages together and they were so thrilled with all the new materials we have in our classroom. We spent this week going over how we play with the new toys and how we take care of them. Math is now engaging and exciting for all learners. My students often felt addition was boring or too hard. Now they can pop and add to 20 or use our math magic machine to help them understand difficult concepts. Students can be overheard saying "no make sure you have the correct quantity before you pull the lever!" My students are turning into mathematicians and I cannot thank you enough. My students have been trying to pronounce Ombeline and Paula all week and wanted to know all about why you gave to our classroom. I simply described it as because they are generous, amazing people who love you. I cannot thank you enough and my kids extend their biggest hugs to you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hopkins

  • Kindergarteners Love to Read!

    Funded Mar 31, 2014

My students were thrilled when they received our package today! All of them screamed and could not wait to open the box. We sat around and discussed how each item would make us a better learner if we took care of them and used them correctly. We used the items right away! Our listening center is up and running and students were able to enjoy their favorite books and create beautiful writing prompts after listening to their favorite stories. Teaching addition today with our wipe and write number lines was hard! But with the ease of erasing a careless mistake my students quickly were able to grasp the concept without any stress.

These donations to my classroom have made my students not only feel smarter than they already are but also very very loved. I have you to thank for that. They have asked so many questions about who would be so generous to donate to them. It is because of people like you that I am able to do my job everyday. Thank you again for your generosity.

    Love,

    Ms Hopkins and her Kindergartners”

    With gratitude,
