Table Time
Funded May 10, 2024WOW This table is FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for making our room so much brighter and happier. I ran a small group at the table today and the students said "I can't wait to go to your table!" In social studies, we had to draw a map of our classroom. The students were like we have to draw the new table!! There we so excited to show how the table fits our room and makes it better. "It's so beautiful" said one student as they came into the room. Thank you for making our days so great and keeping us in mind!”

Mail Time!
Funded Jan 19, 2024This was such a huge treat for our classroom. These mailboxes provide differentiated support for every student on our grade. The mailboxes allow students to have personalized messages sent home to their family, personalized flashcards, homework or notices. This keeps us organized and a great morning routine for us. The students love having ownership of their mailbox and check it every day to see what has arrived. This has been a great method for students that are absent. We can place anything they missed in their mailbox for them! Thank you!”

Carpet Time
Funded Jan 13, 2024The students were so excited today! ITS SO NICE! It's so pretty! Its stunning! They are so thankful to have a bright cheery rug to brighten their learning space everyday. I am thankful that they have people like you in their corner so that they can have a positive elementary school experience. The students helped me roll out the carpet today and said "it's here"! We have been talking about it for weeks. We discussed what this would mean for our space. Once one cohort left they ran and told the other cohort about our new addition. Thank you so much!”

Mail Time!
Funded Dec 9, 2022Thank you so much for donating this bookcase. This will help our students with their folders everyday. They will be able to pick up missed work and important flyers to go home. We are departmentalized so students are switching amongst teachers and subjects. When we see over 36 students a day staying organized is a MUST. Because of your donation we can help the students start their day with structure and organization. My students thrive on staying organized so I am so thankful you have donated to this project that will make sure an impact on our day!”

Funded Apr 7, 2022WOW! Our iPads are up and running. The devices are so seamless they are able to log in and do not need adults to help! We no longer have to have computers crashing or not enough devices for students thanks to you! You have made my students lives so much brighter and I thank you! Today I watched them learn how to read, listen to stories and build words from their iPads. The kids were so excited to open them and even said I cant wait to listen to stories on that! Funded Dec 1, 2021I cannot say thank you enough! My students have been so frustrated at the complexity of navigating the district laptops to try and log into their programs independently. iPads have allowed me to help their screens from my desk and allows them to navigate with ease. Technology is so important in my classroom. It allows my students time alone to practice skills that are tailored to their needs. My students who are just learning English can have the iPad translate their work for them so they are clear on what it is asking the to try-something that is very hard to do on a computer! Our computers have lost sound and need a lot of maintenance because of your support we are able to let our students use the absolute best for their studies. Thank you again!”

Funded May 4, 2020I cannot express my gratitude enough. Your donation got books in the hands of my students on their "just right" non frustration level. In first grade it is so important to keep your reading muscles going with books that do not frustrate you so you fall in love with reading. Often homes don't have books on students levels to practice. I am so happy that with your help my students could practice their skills with high quality books to keep books in front of kids. I am so happy and they were too. Thank you so much. You have made a HUGE difference in their lives.”

Funded Dec 31, 2019"I want to shout out Ms. Hopkins because she gives us stuff to help us learn"- a student at the school wide assembly. My students have been THRILLED that they get items that help them be their best selves. My students are able to read daily books that challenge them and prepare them for the future job market.
