These dramatic play items will encourage my students to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Role playing helps them to improve their ability to do this in real life. They learn important social skills, such as empathy. Language development. It will help build their self-esteem and follow rules. Once each of them as picked a role they tend to stick with it thus helping with so many different skills. Like self-regulation- it helps them grow their ability to inhibit their impulses, coordinate with others and make plans. Please help us get to the moon, or grow vegetables, or become a veterinarian clinic, endless opportunity to think, create, and pretend!
