"Just a Drop in the Bucket" - Get it Overflowing with Words

As soon as I began reading the note that I received funding my heart was overwhelmed with appreciation! We just had our first "Publishing Celebration." We had 3 parents, the art teacher, and the principal present. The kids were so excited, as I was proud of them!! Thank you so much. Words can not even begin to express my gratitude as a new classroom teacher who loves to write. Now my students will not have to hear my mouth saying, "stop wasting that paper, it cost money!" "But, stop wasting that paper, appreciate the value, and kindness of someone who gave it to us!"”

My students are not only learning academic content, but they are also learning English as a second language. They have an additional challenge in becoming proficient in both areas. They are very highly motivated and enjoy learning. With additional supports they can be as successful as all children.
