• Student Chosen Biographies! Part 2

  My students and I send you a huge THANK YOU for supporting us! By supporting our project, you put so many needed books in our children's hands. We are forever grateful for your support! This was another special book project and a much-needed one for our biography section.

  I am excited to incorporate this very popular biography series into my lessons and get them into my students' hands. With everything going on in the world it is important to provide my students with titles that will inspire them and that they choose themselves. I created a Google form that my students can fill out throughout the school year with book titles they would like to add to our library collection. I always try my best to get them the books they have chosen because it makes them super happy and that makes me happy!

  In the pictures, you will see some of my students very excited to receive new books! They are smiling from ear to ear because of your kindness and generosity! Every time a box arrives with books, I make sure to show it to every class throughout the week. They love it when the books come straight out of the box! Hearing them say, "Yay" and "Wow" will never get old. This would not have been possible without your support. Thank you again for helping me continue to build a love of reading. Much love and respect!”

• Enhancing Digital Learning through Compassion

  I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your generous contribution that brought an Apple TV to our school library. It has truly been a game changer for both teaching and learning in our space.

  With the Apple TV, I've been able to mirror my screen during lessons, making it easier to share books and resources that engage students. The quick transitions between activities, when students use the iPad, have made our lessons smoother and more efficient. Additionally, it has brought joy to our students during their free time, allowing them to enjoy movies, read books, or play games together. While it took some time to get everything connected due to some technical challenges with our school district's network, I am thrilled to report that it is now fully operational and already making a big difference.

  Your support has made a lasting impact on our 21st-century library, and I know it will continue to benefit our students for years to come. • Honoring Our Heroes on Veteran's Day

  I hope this email finds you well! On behalf of my book club and their school librarian, I want to extend our deepest thanks for your incredible generosity in providing the decorations and special items for our Veterans Day Program. Your thoughtful contributions helped make this event a memorable and meaningful celebration for all who attended.

  In the pictures, you will see the balloons, backdrop, and flags which brought a festive atmosphere to the program. You will also see my students as they performed and were excited to wear the headbands as they expressed their gratitude, The veteran bracelets were especially touching. They were all grateful to have been provided one to thank them for their service. Seeing our veterans receive these small tokens of appreciation was a highlight, and it was all possible because of your kindness.

  The Veterans Day program was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women, and your support truly helped to make it a special occasion for all. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and for helping us honor those who have served our country. Much love!”

• Book Club Fun!
