  Thank you for the contact paper and journals. We are so excited to be able to transform the library learning commons and build greater student choice and voice in our school district.

  This high school library is a safe haven for all of our students. They enjoy discovery, exploring and learning in the school library. These resources will give them the ability to plan, design and be creative all at the same time. By enhancing and beautifying the library learning commons, students will feel great about their school, their learning environment and also fell valued. This is all possible through your donations.

  Thank you for supporting public school children and school libraries. We are excited to use journals and just have fun creating our own artistic and hands on journals. With making comes failure and that helps kids learn how to problem solve, regroup and thinking outside of the box. This creates resilience that transfers over to academics. When you make learning fun, children are excited to get started and do more as they learn faster.

• Author Illustrator Visits Make Library Fun

  Thank you for supporting virtual illustrator visits. These past two school years have been difficult and have really left kids emotionally impacted, isolated and feeling forlorn. This visit will excite, inspire and motivate them to reconnect, follow their dreams and to never give up.

  In the past, we have had author visits, but artists visits are so special since so many kids love to draw and try their hands at art. Your generous donation makes all this possible and virtual, too, so the sky is the limit.

• Fab Lab = Innovation

• Chocolate Virtual Tasting - Part 2

I was able to teach the school library media specialists how to use food to support family engagement and their learning community in the library learning commons. Through a virtual chocolate visit from a chocolatier from Ethan M., we learned how to focus on sight, smell, feel and use adjectives to describe each chocolate piece.

  Librarians were thoroughly engaged and loved learning. They said this was the best day ever and that they never knew learning could be this fun. Your donation made all this possible.
