My students love reading. Our classroom has a very diverse mixture of individuals. Some students came to second grade reading chapter books and have a very advanced knowledge of reading and decoding skills. However, some students are still struggling to become successful readers. These resources could help close the reading gap between those groups. Struggling readers think that the most fun thing about reading is reading interactive stories on iPods and iPads because when they can't blend a word, they can touch it and the word will be decoded for them.
