Funded Sep 1, 2024The addition of the Epson SureColor T3170 printer has already begun transforming our school's creative and educational landscape. One of the first projects brought to life was a series of vibrant posters for our library. These eye-catching designs promote a love of reading and feature book recommendations, upcoming events, and engaging themes that resonate with our students. The response has been incredible, with students showing renewed enthusiasm for exploring the library and discovering new books.
Beyond the library, the printer has empowered our students to produce large-scale art and photography projects that were previously impossible. Seeing their work printed at such an impactful size has instilled a sense of pride and accomplishment, encouraging them to push their creative boundaries. These student-created pieces now decorate our hallways, turning them into a gallery of inspiration that reflects the talent and diversity of our school community.”

Reading and Making in the Library
Funded Aug 12, 2023I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I write to express my heartfelt thanks on behalf of our entire school community for your generous contributions to our Donors Choose campaign, "Reading and Making in the Library." Your support has made an indelible impact on the learning experiences of our 6th to 12th graders, creating an environment that fosters both creativity and intellectual growth.
Thanks to your contributions, our library is now equipped with cutting-edge LED technology, ESP32 resources, and a quilting foot for sewing machines, providing students with tools to explore the intersection of technology, arts, and literature. Additionally, your support has allowed us to expand our literary collection, ensuring that our students have access to a diverse array of books that cater to various interests and perspectives. The inclusion of snacks also adds a thoughtful touch, creating a welcoming space where students can engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative projects.
Your generosity is not only appreciated in the tangible items provided but also in the endless opportunities for exploration and discovery that you have unlocked for our students. Thank you for being champions of education and for investing in the future of our students. Your support is truly making a difference in shaping well-rounded, curious minds.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Stallings
Making at TSAS
Funded Nov 5, 2022Our maker program has taken a great leap forward with the addition of the new Ender 3d printer and the Silhouette 4 vinyl cutter! Students no longer have to wait days for their 3d prints, and we were able to complete our dance team's new uniforms in under two days with the vinyl cutter.
Looking forward, we can now have an after school 3d printing club to reach an even greater number of students with instruction on 3d modeling, problem solving, scale and ratios, geometry, and general computer literacy.”
