Learning in Color
Funded Feb 14, 2025Thank you so much for your generous donation towards a new color printer for our classroom. My students can’t wait to learn in color. This printer will be helpful in providing my class of visual learners with the tools they need to succeed. My students have been working hard on writing a report of information with photos, maps, and charts, and they are so excited to be able to display their work in color. Thank you for helping to make this all possible.”

Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded Dec 3, 2024Thank you for your generous donation towards the the Pyle Wireless Portable PA System and VocoPro receiver with 8 wireless headset microphones. This year we put on our very first musical theater production, Finding Nemo Kids! When we were started rehearsals this past fall, it was very apparent that it was going be difficult for our audience to hear the performers on stage. Our current school sound system only had two handheld microphones, which would not be sufficient for our cast size.
The students were beyond excited when our project was funded and the materials were received. There was plenty of time for them to rehearse with our new and improved headset microphones sound system. Our performances were a big hit and enjoyed by our school community and families. We could not have made this possible without your support!
We look forward to using these materials for all our future performances!”

Funded Aug 14, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations towards the new MacBook for our Theatre Arts endeavors. This new laptop is bringing the necessary technology needed in order to put on our first school musical this year. Thirty students are coming together to put on a musical theater performance. The MacBook will allow us to play guide music during all of our rehearsals and create a play list of the instrumental music for our performances. It also allows me to create flyers and notices to send out to parents and our school community.
This new laptop will also be used during our annual talent show. The MacBook has the programs needed to upload, cut, and fade music. I will be able to make a playlist of all the music needed for the talent show to help put on a seamless event.
The students are so excited to be part of this new experience! We could not have made this a reality for them without the kindness from donors like you!”

Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for helping to fund our Motivational Reading Prizes project. An important goal for all the students in my class is to improve their reading. They are taking an active role in their reading goals and have set up weekly lead measures with daily tracking. The prizes we received from this project are helping my students stay motivated to meet their goal each week.
The students were all excited to receive the prizes. They look forward to accomplishing their goals to be able to choose their favorite pencil, eraser, sticker or bookmark at the end of each week.
Since we began this reading initiative, every student in my class has moved up at least one reading level. We are excited to see where the rest of the year takes them.”

Funded May 3, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations towards funding a new electric piano for our school. You contributions allowed our students to share their musical talents with our school and community during our annual talent show. When the students auditioned, they used a really old, completely out of tune, slightly broken piano. They were beyond excited when the electric piano arrived and they were able to play their music in tune. This electric piano also allowed these students to play on the stage, opposed to in the corner of the auditorium. This really made them feel like they were part of the show. Thank you for this wonderful gift that will be used for many years to come!”

Funded Nov 27, 2013I wanted to thank you for your generous donation towards our new classroom carpet. My class was so excited when the carpet arrived and were eager to be assigned their very own spot.
The carpet has been wonderful in bringing the class together during reading instruction and with giving the children a comfortable place to go for group work. It has also made transitions between activities much easier, as there is no question as to where each child should be sitting. We all love how cheery the new carpet has made our classroom.”

Hungry Minds Yearn To Read
Funded Mar 4, 2009I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous donations to my classroom library. My class was so excited to receive all the wonderful new books. The books we received are used every single day. The students love them because they are able to read them on their own. They are actually asking to read, something that rarely happened before.
Being a first year teacher, my classroom was lacking a decent library. I teach a special education class and my students were unable to read many of the books that I did have. The books we received have given my students the confidence they needed to push themselves to become better readers. I have already seen improvements in my students since receiving the books. Thank you again.”
