  • Letting Our Light Shine

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

Thanks to generous people like you, our project has now been fully funded. Our class will be so excited to be able utilize the light table daily during centers time. With the addition of the tray and sensory items, we can use it as a calming area as well as a stem area. Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rodgers

  • Front & Center: Kindergarten Centers Will Help Us Shine

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

The rug and cubbies have made such a positive impact on our classroom! As the students come in, I can see their eyes moving to the bright carpet. It makes our classroom fresh and fun. The students take pride in keeping it clean, some even taking their shoes off when they get on it. They love doing group projects on it, especially our LSI group bones project.

They also love being able to choose new centers out of our new cubbies. Instead of not being sure what they can choose from, they can see through the clear bins in each individual space. The cubbies hold 25 different centers, manipulatives, and STEM toys to choose from. I allow them to independently choose one when they finish their work, and they are now choosing things that reinforce their learning (while sometimes thinking it's just 'play time'.)

Thank you so much for helping us achieve our goal. We appreciate you so much!”

    With gratitude,

  • A Smart Start for Learning Fun

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

I just want to thank you again for your generosity. My class uses the cubby shelving unit every day during center time and free play. We keep many of our manipulatives in the bins, including letters, numbers, magnets, etc. The students love having the independence of getting their own center items out and putting them away in a place that is easily accessible to them.

We all enjoy the beautiful carpet! We use it every single day and it helps give us our own spot with boundaries. We sit, stand, lay, and even dance on it! It brightens up our whole room! Thank you for thinking of us!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rodgers

  • iSpy With My Kinder Eye!

    Funded Aug 17, 2019

Since receiving our iPads in our classroom, we have enjoyed them in so many ways! We use them daily in our centers for reading and math, playing educational games such as Starfall, ABC Mouse, and many more. We listen to audiobooks on them, giving us an even greater love of reading! We use them to take pictures of work and projects we have made in the classroom. From letters and sounds to addition and subtraction, they're amazing learning tools.

I cannot express how excited my class is to have iPads to play and learn on. The best part of using them is that my class thinks they are just "playing" and having fun, when in fact, they are constantly learning new things with them.

The majority of my class does not speak english as their first language, so being able to use technology that has educational games for my bilingual students is incredible. My students benefit and their language skills increase with every use. We are so grateful for your generosity. Thank you for helping our classroom succeed!!”

  • Too Many Ants in Our Pants!

    Funded Aug 12, 2016

    Dear Donors,

I just wanted to let you know how excited my class was to get our new chairs!!! They love working and bouncing in them. We have one chair at each table, and they get rotated daily. The chairs have brought about a tremendous change in the way my students focus during instruction time. Students are not as inattentive as they were before and I have noticed a big difference in what they are learning. In the future, I am hoping to be able to get a class set of the exercise chairs.

I really do appreciate you supporting my class. You are definitely helping to improve their learning environment!”

    With gratitude,
