My English 4 students include two college-preparation courses and two honors courses. I'm sure you see this a lot in these descriptions but my students are awesome human beings. They come from all walks of life, and they are eager to learn about Shakespeare, Shelley, Donne and Keats. Many plan to attend college, some plan to attend community college, a few want to join the military, and several plan to join the workforce full-time upon graduation. They understand the power of a good education, and they are motivated to graduate. While many are at or above grade-level skills, others are behind and need a little help. These Chromebooks will allow me to better organize small-group instruction, and thereby help focus my attention on those needing support. And I love helping them and seeing their faces light up when the reading clicks. Thank you for your consideration.
