I teach in a high poverty school. The school is an urban school within a suburban setting. The school struggles with poverty,domestic abuse, neglect, generational poverty, etc. I am a First grade teacher. My classroom is very diverse. My students are AWESOME they work so hard all day. In our classroom we call it a community of learners. I want my students to love to come to school.
