• To Infinity & Beyond With Robotics

  These kits are amazing! Thank you for giving my students the opportunity and exposure to robotics. My students can build problem-solving skills, develop creativity, and work through new challenges.

  This project has helped with decision-making, prototyping, and troubleshooting. Our first project using the kits was a moveable Grinch we used to decorate our door.

• Improving Literacy Skills With Vocabulary A-Z and Pixton

  Funded Nov 29, 2022

  With your kind donations, our class was able to obtain a class membership to Raz-Kids. Our class is trying to improve reading fluency and comprehension and this website is helping improve literacy among all students, especially my students struggling with reading. They enjoy practicing their reading skills on Raz-Kids. The more they read, the more points they get, which is an incentive to motivate students! They use these points to create a robot avatar. Some of the skills they have already improved include vocabulary, comparing and contrasting, character, setting, plot, comprehension, etc.

  Reading in my classroom has improved! Students are more engaged when reading! They are excited when they move up reading levels! I'm thrilled to see them so determined to improve their reading.

• Holiday Art Supplies

  Thank you for funding our project. My students were so excited as I unpacked all the amazing art materials. In today's classroom, we spend very little resources and time on art. I am so happy that I was able to provide new opportunities to create traditions.

  I want to make a more coherent effort to make sure that all students have an opportunity to encounter art in their everyday life. I used all of the donated art supplies to creatively connect students to art, literature, and traditional history.

  We used the requested art supplies to reflect on our lives, what we are thankful for, create traditional gingerbread houses, and keepsakes for family and loved ones. Students were able to personalize their creations to share for years to come.”

• Art Supplies For My Second Grade Da Vincis

  Art is rarely integrated into school these days. So the look on my student's faces when I said we were going to paint was extremely gratifying. My students are happier and more engaged when they're creating something. I try to complement each art project with an academic standard. My class has had so much fun they don't even realize they're learning!

  Art can move a student's learning experience beyond textbooks and pencils. These supplies have allowed their imagination to run wild, create beautiful works of art, and learn how people express art around the world. Thank you so much for providing these essential tools for my class!”

• Engaging Families and Sparking Innovation at Home!

  First, I want to thank you for choosing my project to help fund. When we received the materials my student were in shock that I would actually let them take these resources home to use with their family. When I first let the students take the bags home, I got text and pictures from parents stating how wonderful it was to let students take home these awesome STEAM tools. Students asked questions, made observations, and gather information. The marble run kits have been a hit with building and designing structures.

  Parents have had the opportunity to help with guidance, decision making, prototyping, and troubleshooting. Not only has it help students become future innovators but it has helped parents understand the importance of STEAM in their child's education. Thank you again! I never thought in my wildest dreams that this project would get funded. Thank you again for believing in my students.”

• Celebrating Lin-Manuel Miranda

  Thank you for funding this project! We finally were able to start this amazing project. We are currently still working toward the finished project and the momentum to complete it has picked up steam. This LEGO mural of Lin-Manuel has shown my students that greatness can come from anywhere.

  This project has required patience, collaborative strategies, counting, reading a grid, accuracy, and some problem-solving when LEGO pieces/sizes become scarce.

  This has been a great project to integrate art with math and counting strategies. We have discussed Lin-Manuel Miranda's work ethic and what it took for him to achieve greatness. The project supplies will be used for years to come. Thank you for your generosity we truly appreciate it.”

• Let’s Raise the Ruff and Learn About Artificial Intelligence!

  Thank you donors for your generous donation to my artificial intelligence project. This project has help my students understand how a computer has the ability to think and learn. With this robot my students have learn to code tasks which helps with problem-solving and learning in any subject This project has allowed students to use block coding to program a dog to perform like a real life pet.
