  • More Than a Gym!

    Thank you so much for your donation! In the summer and fall months we where able to use the items to enhance the PE experience! The scholars totally love all the new scooters, jump ropes and hoola-hoops! This spring we will use the nets and all other equipment more. We are currently in basketball season so we do have another donorschoose list, it's call, Winter Sports are here! It's so exciting to be able to plan activities for the scholars but it's even more fun to plan when you actually have the equipment to do so. I could never repay you for your generous donation. With the materials selected scholars will be able to learn more than just how to play sports or how to throw or bounce a ball. We will be able to work on social and emotional skills. Scholars will be excited to learn new physical fitness skills as well as other sports that they may not have been introduced to. With having K-3rd graders, for me it’s very important to me that the concept of being a good teammate comes first. My goal is for every student to feel motivated to learn each day they come to PE at LPA.

About my class
