So Fresh and So Clean!
Funded Jul 28, 2023These past few years have been quite challenging staying healthy, as society has been impacted by the Covid pandemic. The continued unfolding saga of Covid weighs heavy mentally and physically on the nation, which is an unfortunate battle we must fight to survive. We here at P.S. 106 send our deepest sentiments of gratitude, to all whom contributed to our classroom being a cleaner, healthier and safer place for students to learn. When returning to school in September, it was not even 3 weeks in before my Para and I were sick/Covid positive. With all the spraying and wiping done in the classroom, it still happened to us. We were able to pull through but I could only imagine if we didn't have any cleaning supplies in the class, how much worse it could have been. Since students are not mandated to be tested anymore for Covid when feeling ill, they all come to school sick and its survival of the fittest. Please know that your contributions are appreciated. You are thought of often when cleaning up and the students are reminded. We wish all of you good health & happiness.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Taylor
So Fresh & So Clean!
Funded Sep 6, 2022First & foremost we are most appreciative for cleaning materials this school year and utilizing them wisely. In the mornings when I come in, desk and chairs are cleaned with Clorox or Lysol wipes and Lysol is sprayed in classroom. Lysol sanitizer is sprayed on all bookbags and coats/jackets in closet daily as well. Students are being taught to be aware of germs and how important it is to cover our coughs with the inner side of elbows and keeping our hands clean by washing or using sanitizer.
These items were so important to have in the classroom this year because Covid-19 is running ramped in the school building. My Para and I both tested positive for Covid-19 and it was not pretty. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been if we didn't have these cleaning materials. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Your support and kindness blessed us. It could have been much worse.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Taylor
