Every Problem Has a Solution
Funded Jan 1, 2016Thank you so much for donating to my Donors Choose project. The white erase table is a great, interactive opportunity for the students to express their knowledge. It has allowed me to have small group instruction, narrowing in on the the students individual needs. The table allows for the students to see first-hand the problem we are working on. The fact that the students can write on the table allows for creativity and the opportunity for me to see what they need further assistance with.
When I first brought the students to work on the table one student told me "this is totally awesome". He thought it was great that he was able to share his answers with the other students by writing and explaining his work right on the table around them. Many of the students asked if I can more of these. I feel this is just another opportunity to allow for my students to love math!”

Strength Lies in Differences, Not in Similarities
Funded Nov 11, 2015Thank you again for donating to my project. These resources have been put to great use in my classroom. My students have loved all the resources, especially the multiplication interactive games. They love practicing their multiplication skills with this. Also with this, the bouncy bands and sand fidget balls have allowed the children to focus more of their energy on the lesson. These allow the children to channel their energy in a more efficient way, allowing them to make gains in the math skills. My students and I and so grateful for your generous donations!”

Today's News is Tomorrow's History
Funded May 12, 2015The new school year has begun! I am happy that because of your generous donations, my students will have a new, exciting resource to learn from this year. My students are excited because the Junior Scholastic Magazine has current event stories from around the world that they can relate to. The interactiveness of the magazine is a wonderful break from their History textbook. My students will be able to use these to stay up to date with current event stories and the connection to the curriculum throughout the year.
This year we are trying to boost the students' learning in geography. These magazines will be the perfect addition to the curriculum! Thank you so much for helping my students succeed!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Sarni
