This project would support my students' creativity and expose them to different experiences more frequently. We do not get to go on a lot of field trips because we are such a big class and most of our parents cannot afford to send the students on field trips often. This project would ensure that my students have an opportunity get experience learning in a different way on a consistent basis. With the materials selected for this project, I will be able to download the virtual field trip applications, allow children to create their own virtual environments and practice coding techniques. The world is becoming more technologically advanced, and I teach in a community that does not expose children to a variety of lifestyles. Most students have never left the county, and this is true for a lot of their parents also. Being able to give them a different perspective while learning would act as a catalyst to push them to the next level growth and progress. I know my students have great potential, but if they never get exposed to more than what is around them, they may never reach their full potential.
