  • Chess at Northwest

    Thank you so much for donating to our project. Chess is an amazing opportunity for students from all backgrounds to engage in challenging learning opportunities. At Northwest, a Title 1 school, we focus on developing the whole student and prepare them for life beyond the school walls.

    Chess is so much more than a game! Students learn strategies to develop the pieces and their attack abilities while defending their king. Improved memory, better concentration and increased patience are just a few skills chess provides.”

  • Flexible Seating for Math and Science 4th Graders

    Funded May 23, 2019

    It is very humbling that you selected my class to donate to. My students love the seating options and are ready to increase their overall math and science knowledge. Each student has had the opportunity to test each seat and quickly picked a favorite, including ranking them from there best option for learning to not the best option for them. Last year, only half of my class was flexible seating and we met our school standardized assessment goals. This year, the entire classroom is flexible seating because of donors like you! I'm excited to see where our scores go this year!!!”
