Greetings! Welcome to my campaign. Please allow me to share a little about myself. I am passionate about life-long learning, which means I've always loved reading and science! I taught middle school science for 15 years, and enjoyed connecting young minds to the wonders of the world. Meanwhile, I never lost sight of my other passion, reading! In 2014, I moved from a science classroom into the school library, where I felt I could directly impact more students by connecting my campus to a wide range of information and the process of inquiry / self-discovery. As a School Librarian, I strive to find the perfect balance between reading for fun and reading to learn! Please help support my goal to introduce technology and literacy resources to more students. I want our library space to exemplify the American Association of School Librarians Shared Foundations: Inquire, Include, Collaborate, Curate, Explore and Engage.
