• An iPad For Students That Forget Their Tech At Home

  The iPad arrived last week and today we had it up and running in the hands of some very happy students :-)) Today two students that left their chrome books at home were able to participate in the class activities which definitely is improving their enjoyment of learning the course content.

  Thank you very much for the much needed resource and rest assured that it will be used by my students to keep up with their class assignments. No longer will students have to sit passively in class on those rare occasions that they forget their school issued device.

• Exploring and Experimenting With Off-Grid Power Sources

  Thank you so much for making the funding of this project complete. Although the original materials for this project were unavailable I was able to use the funds to augment our class room set of tools. It was a great experience today when for the first time my students got to learn by "playing" with the Makita power tools. They were able to assemble and disassemble gym equipment today and learned hands on about torque and how different fasteners work.

They were able to see and feel in real time how the concept of Applied Torque can be easily applied in their everyday lives by tightening and removing bolts of different sizes that I provided to them.
