My students are very talented young musicians that are facing some lifelong challenges- they are all on the Autism Spectrum, dealing with ADHD, or Sensory Integration Disorder. They come to us because they can not function in a typical school. After being with us for a while, these students begin to realize that they can function and become productive members of society. Our school focuses on helping these students reach their full potential by providing opportunities that they normally would not get in a typical school. They take their music seriously and we have been able to sing and play all over the city, including nursing homes, orphanages, and most exciting for the kids- winning a Bronze medal at the 2012 World Choir Games.

About my class
