  • Kindergarten: Future Engineers

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation! Because of you, my students are learning critical skills such problem solving, communication, and creativity . For example, students work together to build bridges and homes. They are building roller coasters!

Our Science Center has become a favorite in our classroom! I overheard one of my students say, "The Science Center is bussin!" From what I've learned, bussin' is a good thing!

Again, thank you so much for your generous donation. My students and I are grateful.”

  • Goodbye, Ants! Goodbye, Mess! Hello, Backpack Organizer!

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

At the beginning of the school year our classroom looked disorganized because my kindergarten students did not have a place to put their backpacks or belongings. We tried everything...putting backpacks at the back of their chairs, putting backpacks on the floor, even putting backpacks outside. Having a backpack organizer was the best solution for our backpack storage. When our backpack organizer arrived, my students were so excited! Because of your generous donation my students now have a place to put their belongings and they take pride in their neat classroom. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rectra

  • I Want My Students to Have a "Pinterest" in Their Library!

    Funded Jan 25, 2015

This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom. When my students walked into the classroom and saw a blue cozy couch and their new leveled library, they were ecstatic!

The addition to the couch in our classroom has made a huge difference in our classroom environment. When you walk into our classroom during Reading Workshop, you will see student reading books enthusiastically. Having a leveled book library has made it easier for students to choose books that are just right for them.

Your donation has helped my students improve in reading. I have seen an improvement in my students' reading fluency and comprehension!

    Thanks, again, for your donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rectra
