Funded Dec 30, 2018I would like to thank you so much for the donation of the tablets to my classroom. My students and I are so incredibly thankful for your generous contribution. Having the tablets in our classroom helped my students learn in so many ways!
My students used the tablets for reading, math, phonics, science, music, and even art. They were able to use various learning apps that were fun and engaging for 5 year olds. Many of my students do not have technology at home, so being able to learn how to use technology and the learning apps on it was incredibly helpful for my students. The students felt proud of themselves for learning how to use technology. I saw a difference in their confidence using it.
One of the most amazing and helpful part of the tablets is that it allowed students one-on-one time with me to learn how to read. Since students could use the tablets independently, it allowed me to pull students in small groups and teach students the foundation of reading. While I held small reading groups, my other students would listen to reading on the tablets to practice fluency as well as reading apps. I saw a dramatic difference in my students reading skills because of the tablets.
I am forever thankful for the amazing gift of these tablets to the classroom. It was one of my students favorite parts of the day as well. Thank you so much!”

Funded Mar 29, 2017Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our class. Being able to use technology in our class has dramatically got all my students engaged in learning. Many of my students need visuals and auditory to learn topics. Using the Brain Pop has helped those students learn difficult topics. I have seen some of my most struggling students become engaged and seen improvements in their learning.
Using technology and Brain Pop has allowed my students to have fun in their daily learning as well. My students love to dance and sing along with songs with huge smiles on their face. As a teacher I absolutely love to watch my students have fun learning. This has also helped me planning lessons and has made my life more easy! :)
Words can not express how thankful I am for your help. It is difficult as a first year teacher but with kind people like you it makes my life easier! Thank you for putting a smile on my face as well as my 28 students.”

Funded Nov 2, 2016Thank you for your generous donations that have impacted our classroom. The moment the boxes entered our room the students were in awe and couldn't hold in their excitement. As we opened the boxes filled with our new flexible seating the students cheered and gasped. They loved all the bright colors and the unique options of seating. They all began asking if they get use the new cool chairs.
Once the packages were opened the students began to ask where did they come from and who gave them to us. As I told my students that kind strangers, family members, and friends donated them to us they were in shock. They didn't understand why strangers who have never met them would do something so kind. I told them because they all matter and are cared for. You all showed my students the best lesson of all, you showed them kindness and love. My students live in poverty and come to school hungry must days. Receiving these kind gifts to allow flexible seating are some of the biggest gifts my students have ever received. I couldn't be more thankful for each one of your donations.
Every day my students use their flexible seating. They love using the wobble chair and colorful stools. My students that are extra wiggly really appreciate their wobble chairs. One of my students that use the wobble chair has ADHD, since he began using the chair he has been able to stay in his seat longer to complete his work. His grades and reading level has greatly improved. Knowing how kind the donors are, we now have a new project to help improve our learning. We are so thankful for your donations, I can't say it enough!”
