    When you have the ability to organize a classroom it runs so effectively my students now know what their responsibilities are and what are expected of them when you walk into my library the students realize a structured daily routine for class work and class activities.They now have all the essential materials to complete assignments - crayons, scissors, glue at each work area. When routines and procedures are established and scholars have the needed materials The LEARNING IS A FOR SURE OUTCOME. Without generous donations from the community this would not be possible.   • Kapow! Bam! Cool Comic CougarBots

    The SOUTHMAYD CougarBots are beyond grateful for your generosity ! The robotics club students were so excited when the Amazon box arrived with their fire tablets. The team of STEM students are now able to program and use the Lego kits to their full potential. They are super excited and we cannot wait to attend our first competition. The ability to practice coding and design is a o growing knowledge that will impact these students as life long learners and build valuable thinking skills.   • Durability in the School Library

    Having the ability now to make my lessons more engaging and hands-on for all the students that come to the library is amazing. Thanks to your support I was able to obtain the items needed to make individual stations and materials more durable as they were laminated and easier for more hands too manipulate. To see the little ones be able to complete lessons by manipulating the pieces no words can explain their excitement.This will defiantly put a "PAW-sitive feeling in my scholars hearts. ❤️❤️❤️”

    My students were so excited to enter the library and see the new comfy chairs and reading corner with their new books their faces were full of excitement . They truly enjoyed the opportunity to curl up in a cozy place to read and enjoy their books. It also made the library and the school more inviting and exciting.Having a safe and inviting corner to enjoy a book is a feeling that is so magical. As every student enters the school library they will be greeted by the colorful branches of learning book tree. Books are extremely important in a Childs life, especially at an early age. Several of our students do not have access to books. Sadly they also do not have a community library. Therefore, the tree will bring inspiration to display NEW books every month for the students to select a book of choice and build their vocabulary and LOVE for READING! The book tree will represent the always blossoming and blooming new adventures of learning .

About my class
