The Second Grade Team is so incredibly thankful to have this project funded by such supportive and loving families. We cannot wait to show you how we have put these iPads to good use at our Authors' Tea Party! The children are thrilled to have these technological resources at their fingertips!”

We have had the pleasure of having many parents come to our classroom to share different apps and programs that require devices such as iPad minis, to add more options to our Academic Choice philosophy. The students have enjoyed using Academic Choice to demonstrate their learning display narrative stories in cooperative groups. This has inspired us to dive deeper into the world of technology for our students through an app called Stop Gap Motion. The students used the art of animation to and to provide more enriching experiences. We are currently working to publish our students' work on different life cycles into a hardcover book. We are planning to have students not only present their writing pieces, but also an animation of their life cycle at our annual Author's Tea! This is just the beginning of where this technology and these devices can take us on our academic journey!
