Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to view my page! I teach 5th grade Reading and Social Studies at a Title I school in Oklahoma. My kids are between the ages of 10 and 11. My goal this year is to help my kids understand how important education is by showing them meaningful learning strategies they will use throughout their lives. I am trying to teach them that reading is more than knowing words, but that it is a means of learning, understanding, and interacting with the world around them.
