  • We Need Printing Supplies and Flexible Seating!

    Funded Oct 23, 2023

Your kindness has made our classroom dreams a reality. My students now have a classroom that engages them in reading and achieving academic success! In the words of Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

The students could not understand why people who they do not know would be so generous and thoughtful to them. This act of generosity reinforced what they have been learning while applying it with real world content. I try to instill the message and philosophy that we must be the change we wish to see in the world with my students. This generosity shows them that their actions can affect more people then they realize.

The room is now covered in images of the students and they can see themselves in the learning environment!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Davis

Thank you for the help in providing the supplies needed to ensure a productive and engaging Social Studies Classroom. Thank you for your generous donations to help bring the new flexible seating to our classroom! The rugs and seats have made small group instruction fun and engaging.

It has been fun to see the classroom transforms and changes to support the different topics and skills. Your gifts have helped them immerse themselves in the topic and easily see themselves in the situations.

The rugs are amazing! The kids like having a place to go and hang but still get their work done!”

  • Flexible and Fun Seating!

    Funded Jul 11, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations to help bring the new flexible seating to our classroom! This week we started to set up the classrooms and prepare for the coming school year. Some of my students came in to help get ready for the new year. Our classroom location changed and I need to transform this new space into an engaging and fun learning environment.

The students were excited to when opening the boxes for the seats. They loved the colors and how comfortable they were.

Thank you for bringing a smile to their faces!”

  • Creative Classroom Decorations and Supplies

    Funded Jul 30, 2023

Thank you for help in providing the supplies needed to ensure a productive and engaging Social Studies Classroom.

This past week we were allowed to start to come into the building and unpack and set up our room for the coming year. Some of my returning students came in to help and were so excited to see the supplies. They helped my unpack them and organize them in preparation to be hung up.

This year our classroom moved to a new location with a new layout. It will be fun to see how the classroom transforms and changes throughout the year to support the different topics and skills. Your gifts will help them immerse themselves in the topic and easily see themselves in the situations.”

Student's enjoyed some fun new games during the last days of class while snacking! Those moments of joy after a long year of work were well deserved.

The classroom also had the paper to print out the summer packets to keep them active and on task for the next school year!”

In the words of Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

The students could not understand why people who they do not know would be so generous and thoughtful to them. They have been working hard all year to understand that being a good citizen is helping others and trying to make the world a better place. This act of generosity reinforced what they have been learning while applying it with real world content. • Classroom Supplies Are Running Low!

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

I want to thank you on behalf of my students! Having the needed supplies so they can get to work makes class transitions smoother.

These basic supplies make a huge difference. By having pencils, eraser, pencil sharpeners the students can focus on work and not have to be concerned with locating these items.

The folders and sheet protectors are creating safe places for readings and materials to be kept and used in the long term.

Student's are enjoying seeing their work hanging in the dry erase pockets around the classroom boards. They add color and organization to the classroom!

    Thank you again!”

  • Amazing Book to Connect What They Are Learning to Lives!

    Funded Jan 28, 2023

I want to start off by thanking you for your generosity to these amazing students.

Many of the students are struggling readers and finding books that will engage them can be difficult. These books bring a sense of fun and engagement to the readings. I have found that students are exploring new stories on their own and wanting to ask more question and make connections to previous lessons in class.

Students are seeking out books and having discussions about many things in class. It was great to over hear, "Did you read about the ancient murder?"

That is the sweet spot of reading!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Davis
