My students are from rural Tehachapi, a small town in Central California. It is a Charter school where students are required to take a great deal of responsibility for their own learning. It is a parent choice and parent participation, tuition-free charter where parents, teachers and the community work together to educate one student at a time. The school offers a wide range of options including home-based learning, cooperative school programs and classes, independent study, group seminars, and learning projects.
