Beating the Winter Blues: Health & Comfort for Students
Funded Feb 18, 2025This DonorsChoose project had a meaningful impact on our school community by ensuring that every student who visited the health office felt supported, cared for, and ready to return to learning. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we were able to stock essential supplies that addressed students' immediate needs—whether it was a snack for a hungry student, a warm and calming space for one feeling under the weather, or a bandage for a minor injury.
These seemingly simple items made a tremendous difference in creating a welcoming and supportive space for students. Because of this project, our health office was better equipped to meet students' physical and emotional needs, reinforcing the message that their well-being matters. Thank you to everyone who contributed—you helped make our school a healthier, more caring place!”

The label maker has been a game-changer, helping us stay organized and ensuring that medical supplies, student health records, and equipment are clearly labeled and easy to find when needed. The fruit snacks have been a lifesaver for students who need a quick boost. And the tampons you helped provide ensure that students never have to feel stressed or embarrassed about having access to necessary hygiene products.
Your kindness and generosity directly impact students' well-being and confidence, making school a place where they feel supported and cared for. Thank you for making a difference in their lives!”
