Our students at P.S. 327 in the heart of Brownsville, Brooklyn are eager to exercise their creativity to express their thoughts and ideas to the fullest. At our school, we consistently creating and developing new projects at a high rate with limited resources to help push creativity to the next level. Many times, our students have a story to tell with access to limited resources to help them bring those stories to life. This year we've been given a huge opportunity to do so! Using mannequin figures will enable our students to develop the appropriate techniques they need to bring innate objects to life. Our younger students have been experimenting with the basics of art and are eager to learn about different textures and how they contribute to the quality of their work. Lastly, to maintain the integrity of all of our students work, having a drying rack in our Art room will help all students keep their work neat and tidy upon completion.
