Funded Sep 18, 2024I hope your new year is off to a great start! I want to take the time to thank you all for the generous contribution you gave to our classroom. We've been able to sort out our library into more genres, we've added our science books as well. Everything is nicely displayed and labeled. Students even take the time to really care for and maintain this space and that is beautiful to see. Your contribution has also made our cozy corner more inviting and lively. We've been able to organize everything into this giant bin where items are stored and cycled for use. Students really enjoy the cozy corner and have taken ownership of that space too. They naturally want to keep it clean and make an effort to hang posters back up nicely when they happen to fall down. Our students have a strong sense of routine and organization in our classroom and that is thanks to you! Thank you so much!”

Funded Sep 25, 2021Thank you so much for the support you gave us this year! It was a rollercoaster of a year, but thanks to you and your contribution we were prepared! Students were in the classroom this year and were able to refill their supplies when necessary. The smiles on their faces when they ran out of pencils and could quickly ask for another one was amazing to see. Your contribution helped nurture their learning and their sense of security in our classroom. We cannot thank you enough! You made this happen!”

Brand New Book Bins!
Funded Feb 5, 2020You were able to fund this project for my wonderful classroom before COVID had hit and although I did not have a chance to take pictures of the results, I can share that the classroom library was indeed updated! Our bilingual library was more organized than ever before with blue bins for our English books and red bins for our Spanish books. I was able to create custom labels and stick them on bins thanks to the label holders I received. The categories created made browsing through the classroom library more engaging than the limited A-Z we had before. I am very thankful for the impact and I cannot wait to continue to organize it when we are all back!”

Funded Dec 4, 2020This has been a whirlwind of a year and I have you to thank for keeping me grounded and able to provide my students with the best. Your donation was able to fund some of the most needed items of the year! The document camera has the most amazing features that enabled me to teach my students with more hands-on materials. The quality of the video being shared was amazing! My students were beyond excited when they immediately saw that they could see my hands and the same manipulatives that they had created at home. The dry erase markers and erasers were used (and are still being used) to display color-coded images with students under the document camera! It made learning much more fun!
I cannot thank you enough for what an impact you have made in our classroom during this whirlwind of a year. A huge thank you from my students and my heart!”

Funded Nov 13, 2018Having a new printer in the classroom has not only brought more color to our world, but it has also made us more curious. Students have been using the printer for classroom projects, they are practicing their computer skills even more because they love printing their finished work, and I am very impressed with how comfortable they've become about using our printer. You might hear many of my students say, "Let's make a copy of it," because they know we can to that in under a minute now.
We share the new printer with a first grade classroom and it has helped their library labels, their word charts and so much more! Our two dual language classrooms are much more brighter thanks to you. We have honestly not limited it to just us. It has helped our neighbor teachers get those last minute copies printed and they are so happy when they realized their sheets came out in full color! For all of this joy and much more to come, we thank you!”

Funded Sep 7, 2018When my students realized that the things we love about our classroom were donated by very kind and generous donors like you, they were amazed and so thankful! They immediately suggested that we write thank you letters! We have used the borders to make our classroom feel cozy and inviting. In our social studies unit, we studied land-forms and created a 3D representation of several countries which we proudly placed on the walls using the Velcro we received. We bit of this project is helping to make us proud innovators and keep our focus on what truly matters; learning! Thank you for giving us the bare necessities!”

Funded Dec 20, 2017A while ago, you were generous enough to donate to our classroom project "Tablets in Our Toolbox." You made it possible to add four Amazon Fire Tablets to our classroom, with enough storage capacity and with child proof protective cases, to our classroom. For that, I thank you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and my students thank you for the amazing opportunities you have given them. We have used the tablets for research, for word help, for educational games, and our favorite math website IXL. We can now do whole table rotation groups because thanks to your amazing contribution, we now have enough tablets to accommodate an entire table of students.
Students are more curious about everything and you will often hear this question in class now: "Can I look it up on the tablet?" We all know teachers do not have all of the answers, so watching students become more in control of their learning is the greatest impact you've been able to bring into their lives. Thank you so much.”

Funded Aug 13, 2017I want to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for helping us start the year off strong and motivated by your generosity. Your contributions allowed us to get a science center established and gave us the tools needed for experimentation and investigation. Most importantly you've touch the hearts of third graders who will forever know that the world believes in them and their education.
I've waited to write this thank you letter so that I could describe the impact you've had on my students a little better. They were able to use the life cycle tools during our animal and plant studies. They used microscopes to look closer and I cannot even begin to explain their excitement to use the tools that "real scientist" use, as they called said. We still have the rest of the year to go and already your impact has been felt and will continue to grow. Thank you!”
