• Connecting With Technology

  Thank you for your generous contribution to our Donors Choose Project Connecting With Technology. My classroom received the document camera with the help of your donation. We are eager learners and the document camera will help us to better understand and see teacher demonstrations. The document camera will become an integral part of teaching. It will be used to show the different tools the teacher is using in his demonstrations. Because of this donation, I can focus on other areas of technology integration in the school. • Tech Lab Materials Needed

  I wanted to thank you again for your generosity. Students were very excited that they now have headphones to use in class for a variety of reasons.

  One of the challenges that I face in class is student attendance. Often times students are not in, and the class could be covering something new. That would force me to repeat directions over and over and over again. To help combat this I create videos that cover material in class or directions for a specific part of a project. Students are able to view these directions as many times as they need.

  This also helps to differentiate instruction because students are now able to work at their own pace, now that we have headphones we are now able to expand upon this teaching practice. If students have computer and Internet access at home they can review the lessons and materials at home as well.
