My amazing students come to school daily to learn, become scholars, form friendships, and strengthen their self confidence and abilities to be anything they want to be. Our neighborhood school is diverse, supportive and uses best practices for kids. Our school has a welcoming environment to all who enter our doors. We have our challenges like many schools. Our students have their struggles academically, socially, and emotionally. Yet, they want to strive to be their best and are encouraged daily by many adults to make good choices and strive to be a scholar. We recently received the one of the highest honors of Positive Behavior Intervention Support acknowledgment. Our students work everyday to understand, empathize, treat others respectfully, and accept differences in our school and community.
