  • Books to Spark Interest!

    Funded Mar 2, 2020

I hope that this little note finds you and your loved ones doing well! Thank you so much for donating to our second grade classroom book project. We are in receipt of the books, however our students haven't been able to use them due to COVID 19 concerns in our community. Our school is currently on 100% distance learning until the end of the 1st quarter. My plan is to add these new books to our classroom library next school year or earlier depending on when students are back in school for face to face instruction.”

  • Helping Supply Students With Basic School Supplies!

    Funded May 13, 2020

I hope that this little note finds you and your loved ones doing well! Thank you so much for donating to our second grade classroom. Unfortunately I haven't been able to give these wonderful school supplies to my students this school year due to COVID 19 concerns. Our school is currently conducting 100% distance learning and our school provided supplies to each family to be used during distance learning at home. I plan to use these supplies with all of my students next school year. I am very grateful for all of your support and I'm sure my future students and their parents will also be grateful for your generous donations.”

The kidney-shaped table will be used daily for small group math and reading instruction. Students will be able to get either one-on-one or small group instruction with the teacher in order to meet their individual needs. Students learn best in smaller group settings; therefore the kidney-shaped table will be perfect for engaging most students in various activities and lessons. The white board materials will help engage students to participate in daily activities. The white boards, markers and erasers will be used for math practice and reading and writing skills practice. Students enjoy using white boards versus paper and pencil. Students will be excited to learn using them
