  • Mobility Made Easy

    Funded Jun 15, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom project. My husband helped me add the casters to my existing bookshelf units and I absolutely love it! The casters make moving the cubby units a piece of cake. Believe it or now, I will be relocating classrooms again this school year due to ongoing construction. This will be my 3rd time moving in 6 months. I will packing up my classroom and moving into another temporary classroom at the end of this week. I thank God that I am able to place my teaching materials on my cubby units and move them easily into my next classroom. The casters on each unit is making my "moves" much easier to do! Thanks again for your generosity! We appreciate you! :o)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hayashi

  • Read to Me

    Funded Jun 9, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project! These picture books are absolutely perfect for my classroom. I do a read aloud each day with my kindergarteners right after lunch and these titles are great conversation starters. Many families are still struggling to some degree from the impacts of COVID 19. My students are able to make personal connections with some of these stories. It's great to hear my students talking about their personal life experiences.

Thank you again for your generous donation! We appreciate your thoughtfulness!”

  • Supporting Our ELs Language Development

    Funded May 7, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project. The items requested for this project was meant to be used with our English language learners; however, at the start of the school year I committed to teaching kindergarten instead due to our increase of kindergarten enrollment. I do plan to use these valuable resources with my kindergarteners as they learn their letter names and sounds. If it doesn't fit the need for my classroom, I will certainly pass these resources on to the new EL teacher.”

  • Keeping It Organized Part 3

    Funded Jun 23, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom project. Our classroom furniture needed to be replaced and this cubby unit is absolutely beautiful. We have received many compliments from school staff! It's the perfect size, sturdy and easy to move around the room. Each cubby is large enough to hold a student's bin with their personal learning supplies. This piece of furniture will last for many years and serve it's purpose for lots of students. We are truly grateful for your generosity! Mahalo from all of us! :o)”

  • Keeping It Organized Part 4

    Funded Jun 5, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project. The 6 cubby unit is absolutely beautiful. It's sturdy with solid rolling casters and the cubby sizes are very spacious. We were able to assemble the unit before school started; however I'm not able to use it for it's intended purpose just yet because I had to temporarily relocate my classroom for at least the 1st quarter due to construction happening right outside of my classroom. I can't wait to move back into my classroom sometime in the fall and be able to use the cubby.”

  • Keep It Organized Part 2

    Funded May 18, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting our EL classroom project. I absolutely love our brand new cubby unit. It is so beautiful and sturdy. The cubby size is perfect for storing learning materials. Each cubby is able to store a large bin and a pencil case for each student. My students will be able to store their personal learning supplies safely in their assigned cubby unit. Thank you again for your generous support and for helping me keep my students safe when returning back to the classroom for in person learning once again!”

  • Building Fluent Readers

    Funded May 24, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting our EL classroom project. The file folders were used to create sight word folders and letter naming/sounds practice folders for each student. The hanging file folders and the drawer unit are used to store the run off copies and completed 5x5 grid student folders. My students will be using these 5x5 grids to practice their reading skills at home. Practicing these reading skills daily at home and school are important for building reading fluency which in turn will help build reading comprehension in the future. Thank you for helping me build fluent readers! :o)”

  • Keeping It Organized

    Funded May 13, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom project. This sturdy bookcase looks great in our classroom and it stores some of our reading materials perfectly. The bookcase is storing our English language learning activities, mini dry erase lapboards and dry erase materials and language learning games. Students are able to easily access these learning materials from the bookcase on their own. We are truly grateful for your generosity. This bookcase will serve it's purpose for many years! :o)”

  • Clean Air = Healthy Classroom

    Funded Feb 23, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project. Your generous donation helped to alleviate some of the anxious feelings that my students and I feared when we returned back into the classroom for face to face instruction in February 2021. Covid 19 has definitely changed the way we teach, learn and interact with one another. However, having the air purifiers in our classroom has provided us with a sense of relief that the air we are breathing in is much cleaner.

Thank you for helping us transition back into the classroom safely! We truly appreciate your support!”

  • Distance Learning Success

    Funded Jun 28, 2020

Thank you so much for donating to my distance learning project. I have been using these math manipulatives on a weekly basis to teach math concepts via Google meet sessions with my second graders.

The portable white board easel has been a blessing. I'm able to display the magnetic math tools on the board as well as write on it. It also fits perfectly on my desk.

I am so grateful for your generous donation to my classroom. These teaching and learning tools will be used for many years to come. Thank you for being so kind!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hayashi

The kidney-shaped table will be used daily for small group math and reading instruction. Students will be able to get either one-on-one or small group instruction with the teacher in order to meet their individual needs. Students learn best in smaller group settings; therefore the kidney-shaped table will be perfect for engaging most students in various activities and lessons. The white board materials will help engage students to participate in daily activities. The white boards, markers and erasers will be used for math practice and reading and writing skills practice. Students enjoy using white boards versus paper and pencil. Students will be excited to learn using them
