I have general and a special education students. They are at very different levels. It is obvious my students do not get read to at home or extra practice at home. I also have a group of students that are very hands on learners. The Leapster game system will be another tool to reinforce the previous reading strategies and skills that I have taught to them. This would be such a great help to be assured students are learning during my small group instruction and work independently during center time.
