Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. This iPad has helped with engineering, design thinking, and other technology projects. The iPad has encouraged students' creativity and it supports 21st Century Learning Skills. The tablet will has also helped the teacher provide interactive lessons that has kept little learners engaged. They love using the tablet for multiple subjects but specially computer science. • Virtual Stylus Work!

    Funded Feb 3, 2021

Thank you so so much for helping me provide these stylus pens for my little kindergarteners. With the iPad screens being so small, certain activities such as writing penmanship became challenging for them. Those little fingers made it hard for letter formation and the stylus made a huge difference. I saw the difference it made when we transferred to writing on a whiteboard and even more on paper. They would also complain about their little fingers hurting but anymore thanks to your generosity. Thanks a million!”

  • Ready for Back to School

    Funded Jul 18, 2020

Thank you for your kind donation. I was able to create packages for my students with the items donated and I mailed them home. I was able to print out different skills for language arts and math and I inserted them in the pockets and sheet protectors so that my students can use their whiteboard markers and be able to reuse these learning/practice sheets. The markers have helped so much with interactive writing through zoom. They have helped me developed little authors. They use their whiteboard and markers to write stories phonetically. It's amazing to see their growth and you are part of this success. Be proud!”

  • Virtual Art

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thank you so so much for your kind donation. Thanks to your kind donations my students have made Fun Friday a successful art day. They look forward to this day. We have been able to create so many directed drawing art lessons that compliment instruction. From seasons art, to black history art, to women's history art, holiday art, and much more. It has also giving us the opportunity to create new colors by combining our vibrant water colors. Distance learning has not been easy but you've made it so much more fun and exciting. Thanks a million!”

  • Multicultural Learning

    Funded May 28, 2020

Thank you for your kind donation. Unfortunately, the items I asked for, skin colors/markers were not available and I had to select a replacement. The purpose was to be able to create art where my students felt culturally represented. In replacements, I was able to get oil pastels and it turned out great. I have been able to show my students how to mix colors to make different shades. We have also created vibrant art work during our zoom fun Fridays. My students look forward to this day and we have you to thank.”

  • Virtual Learning Visuals

    Funded Jun 25, 2020

Thanks for providing this wonderful copier. During these difficult times, it has been a blessing. I have been able to printout visuals to use during zoom time and more importantly, I've been able to printout material for my students. I print them out and mail it to their homes. It has helped make their school experience a bit more normal. Being able to provide material has been crucial to their academic growth. They are little kindergarteners and still need paper and pencil activities to work on their motor skills and this copier has been great.”

  • Let’s Learn Together Through Zoom

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you for helping me provide zoom lesson for my students with a better quality laptop. It has made a huge difference with not only the quality but the amount of resources I'm able to provide my students in this difficult situation we are all facing. The sound is better, it's not shutting down or kicking me out, and my students are happier with the deck slides I've been able to provide for them. Thanks for helping make this experience a little better for them. They all want to be back at school but this makes things feel a little more normal.”

  • Virtual Reading

    Funded May 28, 2020

Currently, reading is through the lens of a zoom Classroom. Even though it's not the same as in person, my students still enjoy when I read out loud to them because I like to be animated. I like to change my voice and get up to act them out. Now, that I've read the books, they will be mailed to my students. Books are the gifts that we can open again and again. During these difficult times they need something else besides being on a screen. Thanks so much for making this possible. You are all amazing.”

  • Professional Development: Design Thinking

    Funded Jun 28, 2019

I can't thank you enough for sponsoring my donors choose projects to attend a professional development on design thinking. This PD taught me a whole new different approach to take back to my classroom. It is an approach that will help my students be global thinkers and problem solvers. They will dive into solving many real life issues with an emphasis on empathy which this world needs a lot of at this point in time. This approach can also be applied across grade levels and across multiple subjects. Love it! Thanks a million.”
