Eco-Friendly Is the Way to Be
Funded Apr 25, 2023Because of your interest in my classroom, we have been able to keep our class clean and virus free (as much as possible). All this with the ability to be as eco friendly as possible. We have been able to use our wipes on a daily basis to keep our desks clean, and smelling great! Our eco friendly sprays not only smell great, but they are safe for everyone to use. With our cleaning cloths, we have been able to use and reuse them, without us having to use paper towels all the time and just tossing them in the trash, creating more litter. The sponges have been helpful in keeping our sink nice and clean for our every day use. Your help has helped us become more aware of the simple changes we can make to be eco friendly on a daily basis, while helping our earth.”

Funded Apr 30, 2023Once again, thank you for your interest and support of my classroom. We were very excited to have the ability of being able to set up our classroom in a calm, stress free manner. Thanks to your donations, my students have been able to feel relaxed as I play classical music through the speaker and they can look around the room to see our beautiful vines as another means of relaxation. They enjoy sitting on our relaxing corner to read a book or simply, if they want to read a book or feel the need to take a break from all our work as they sit and relax by our beautiful string lights. You have definitely made an impact in our classroom!”

Funded Nov 30, 2022I want to take a moment again to thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness! The crates we received have really helped keeping us organized. The smaller crates went into our library and because of their colors, the students have been able to keep track of where each book belongs. The bigger crates hold our daily materials and it makes it easier to locate them when needed, from our closets.
This will definitely continue to help keep us organized as the year continues. We are definitely grateful for your involvement in our classroom.”

Funded Oct 1, 2022Thank you once again for supporting my classroom. My students were ecstatic to see there are several generous people willing to help our classroom.
They were all very pleased to receive our sharpener and automatic stapler.
My students have been able to both, keep their pencils sharp and staple several papers at a time with a simple touch.
We will continue using these materials with lots of care so they will last us for as long as possible. Your generosity has definitely helped us become more productive on a day to day basis.”

Help My Students Have the Space to Write Things Out
Funded Jan 9, 2022Your generosity has spread throughout my classroom through the flow of ink in a marker into a clean white board with the possibility of changing the colors of our letters, numbers and characters and the ability to wipe them off again with our brand new erasers.
My students have enjoyed being able to put their thoughts into writing and figure out math problems in a white board with a stroke of a marker which can easily be erased if a mistake is made or a change needs to happen. We are constantly solving math problems and sharing our answers with one another.
The ability to show their work with more ease has made my students want to participate more in the class discussions as their work is projected for the rest of the class to see. Thank you again for your interest in my students' learning.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021Thanks to your generosity, my students have not just had the ability to stay germ free, but also nourish their hands after all that sanitizing done in the classroom. Because you provided my students Dial hand soap and Meyers hand lotion, they can now practice hand washing hygiene more frequently than simply sanitizing.
We have been sanitizing so frequently that my students' hands have been drying up and in some instances, their skin would crack. I was providing different hand soaps and lotions myself, but with so many students washing their hands, the supply was less than the demand. Now, all of that has been avoided. Because of your generosity, we have been supplied with multiple soaps as well as lotions that should last through the end of this school year.
Thank you very much for helping my students out with the ability to not simply wash their hands, but moisturize them after washing.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021Becoming readers for life is a goal in our classroom. Now, thanks to your generosity, my students have the ability to choose virtual as well as hands on reading. This provides them a full on interactive experience.
Since my students have become very tech savvy, they love the ability to sometimes read online, but, also be able to take a break from the screen and be able to physically hold reading material in their hands. Because of you, this has become a reality in my classroom.
Thank you for helping my students become life-long readers and learners. Your generosity has tremendously made an impact in our school journey. We have definitely put our subscriptions to great use in this classroom.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021Your donations have had a very positive impact on my students. The ability to be able entice my students with a possibility to take a trip to our treasure chest has created a much more enthusiastic group of fourth graders, when it comes to participation. My students look forward to taking a trip to our treasure box and choose the treasure of their interest.
The fact that your generosity provided us the ability to choose different items to place in the treasure chest has made my students more interested in attempting to collect all items in there, allowing them to set forth even greater effort in participating and trying their best when it comes to learning.
The looks on their faces when they receive a treasure is priceless. They tend to compare with each other what they got and set goals as to what their next treasure will be. We have definitely found many treasures in this classroom.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021My students were able to use the new board games during our rainy days. They had a great deal of fun and showed much interest in being able to play with their classmates in person. There was a lot of different conversations happening during their playtime, which is important in my class as we are working on communication skills.
Because of your generosity, I was able to provide different games and board games for my students to choose from. They enjoyed being able to choose which one they preferred and formed different groups within themselves to carry out their game plans and conversations.
We are extremely grateful for your generosity and thoughtfulness towards my classroom. We have now been able to use the board games as an incentive during free time and they have learned to play the different games they had not been exposed to.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021Technology, especially during covid-19 times, has been tremendously important to our students. Our students have been distance learning for over a year, using technology to expand on their education is something that they've been getting used to.
As for us, teachers, we have encountered difficulties finding new and exciting activities and lessons to keep all students engaged. Knowing not all activities we find are of interest to all students, we are always searching for new approaches. Your donations have made a great difference because I have been able to not only implement the online activities that were purchased with your generosity, but I have been able to provide them with hands on activities that match what we have discussed in class.
The students' ability to hold the Scholastic magazines that have beautiful live pictures as well as relevant information to them in their hands has been priceless. The transition from them being able to look up their interests on line with our digital subscription and then receiving additional support with the hands on magazines has definitely peaked their interests.”
